Where are you from Arnav? And what’s your favorite place in your city?

I’m from New Delhi, India and my favorite place in this city is Qutub Minar.

What led you into the world of design?

I used to watch anime a lot. This led me to draw and after that, I studied digital art which I loved a lot!

What aspects of being a designer do you love the most?

I am a freelance artist.

So I love working from home and managing my schedule as I wish.

What does a typical day look like for you?

It depends. If I get too much work, I divide my time accordingly.

I am a workaholic. I love to work. If I have free time, I practice art. I don’t really have a particular routine as it totally depends on the day.

What is your current desk setup?

I only have an iPad and a pencil. Haha lol.

I also have a bluetooth keyboard. Sometimes I use my laptop to see references while I’m drawing.

Where do you look for creative inspiration?

There are so many creative people I look up to. My favorites are artgerm and Sakimi Chan. Besides this,  I also check Pinterest and ArtStation regularly for inspiration.

What tools do you use for designing?

I only use Clip Studio Paint and Ref Vu on my laptop to view reference images while drawing.

What is the favorite work you ever created?

I don’t really have a favorite one. But, I recently created a flower girl for a competition and I think it was pretty good.

Which product did you discover recently that you love using?

Ref Vu to view reference images. And I also recently learned blending through the blur tool.

What challenges do you face as a designer?

Sometimes not getting any inspiration. Or maybe not liking what I am creating. But now I know it’s all part of the process.

What music do you listen to while designing?

Mostly instrumental music or bhajans and mantras.
